A love for Florida's Natural beauty, and an Industrial Engineering degree led Todd Koonts to a 32 year career in the commercial swimming pool industry. West Virginia University prepared him well for the challenges of the business, but it was his desire to "do things right," which led him to establish his own company, Spies Pool, LLC, twenty-five years ago.

Todd is recognized by the State of Florida as a Certified Pool/Spa Contractor. He not only upholds, but exceeds the strict demands required of him as the contracting license holder for Spies Pool. To him, maintaining high standards for materials, chemicals and services at Spies Pool is just part of "Good enough is never Good Enough."
The Manager for Spies Pool, LLC, Marty Koonts, has learned the Commercial Pool Industry from the ground up. From the time Marty was 18 years old he was out getting his hands dirty, loading trucks, delivering products, warehousing, and conducting in-store sales.
In the 1980s Marty moved to Outside Sales and then into management. Marty is Spies' specialist, when you need a bid for your new equipment, chemicals, or parts. He specializes in handling the art of "inside sales," as well as routing deliveries.
His slogan is "Spies Pool delivers on time, and on budget." Like Todd, you can always count on Marty to know the latest scores of the Orlando Magic Basketball Games.
Ken Soukup is the man responsible for scheduling the timely completion of your service call. As a retired US Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer, he inspires authority and trust into every Spies Pool project.
His expertise comes from such varied experiences as doing special electrical work on the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier, and engineering the construction on forward operating bases in Afghanistan. As a hotel Chief Engineer for over 12 years, Ken understand how important customer repair needs are because he has been in your shoes.
When you need scheduling and timely completion of service calls, Ken is often your contact. Whether you need a proposal for your repairs or emergency chemicals, Ken can help you out. He might also master-mind the installation of your new equipment.
Often the first cheerful voice you hear on the phone when you call Spies Pool belongs to Lauren. With a B.S. degree in both Mathematics and Accounting, and her Masters degree in Business, Lauren Koffinas is the perfect fit for the Accounting and HR Manager at Spies Pool.
She joined the team at Spies Pool in 2010 after four years of experience in the Finance Department at the Osceola County Sheriff's Office.
When she isn't occupied with crunching numbers, she is a busy wife and mother of ten year old dancing star, Dakota, of Orlando dance team, "Danzforce Extreme."
Derek Schwan is the newest addition to Spies Pool. He brings over two years of construction knowledge in plumbing and carpentry to the table, which goes well with his certification by the National Plasterers' Council.
Derek transitioned over to the hospitality industry after graduating from the Criminal Justice Academy of Osceola, where he was second in his class. His background includes Loss Prevention Manager and Chief Engineer of a local 718 room resort.
With his nine years of experience in resort maintenance and security, Derek enthusiastically runs support for Project Management and Service at Spies Pool.
Pat Post has 27 years of experience in working on commercial pools.
Pat is responsible for bidding, selling, and managing all our renovation projects, large or small.
